“The content and the instruction at Tuck were phenomenal. You come out feeling much smarter about business – and much smarter about yourself.”

FROM 10,000 FEET | One of TEP's big learnings that has stuck with me is regarding strategy: Strategy is more about what you are not going to do, than about what you are going to do. As my company is currently in the process of a re-organization, I have consistently challenged myself with re-thinking our strategy based on this pivotal TEP learning point.

A-HA MOMENT | During the ‘Leading in a Crisis’ role-play, I was struck by the realization that when you are a leader, you are 100% responsible. At that moment, in front of the camera, you and you alone represent the company. It is often easy to deflect the tough questions or blame someone else, but embracing the feeling of sole ownership has had a big impact on me, and I have taken this feeling of responsibility to heart when communicating internally or externally.

THE TAKE-AWAY | I would recommend the Tuck Executive Program because it is a perfectly balanced executive leadership course. It covers an unbelievable array of key topics, hitting on both hard and soft skills, personal and professional. The content and the instruction at Tuck were phenomenal.  You come out of the course feeling much smarter about business – and much smarter about yourself.
