“Tuck’s professors take a personal interest in ensuring you get the most out of the program.”
FROM 10,000 FEET | Before attending the Leadership and Strategic Impact Program, my exposure to different management styles and corporate cultures was limited. After working in groups with other professionals in LSI, I’ve been more successful in embracing different management styles and the constant change that occurs in today’s workplace. It has definitely made me a better leader.
A-HA MOMENT | I’d always envisioned leaders as having certain characteristics and personalities traits that were universal. Boy was I wrong! I learned that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to leadership styles. Working with a diverse group of people, I saw firsthand that leadership comes in many different forms—all of which can be very effective. I also realized that flexibility is key; and that you might need to change your style of communication on a moment’s notice, depending on the subject matter and the audience your trying to communicate with.
THE TAKE-AWAY | The program directors and administrators organize the program in a way that is both challenging and enjoyable at the same time. And the professors are experts in their fields. They treat you with the utmost respect and take a personal interest in ensuring you get the most out of the program.
